14U and 17U Tryout for the 2024-25 Club Season

We are excited to announce tryouts for the 2024-2025 Club Season. If you registered and tried out for the travel teams in July, you will not need to register for the October tryouts, however, you will need to participate in the October tryouts.

In order to participate in Hunter's Tryouts, parents will need to signed electronic waiver. Please see the details below.

1. Mandatory Online Waiver - All athletes must complete the online waiver prior to arrival for tryouts. Click here to sign the waiver.

2. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian and athlete to check and know their athlete's age division. We ask that all athletes try out with their true age division as defined by AAU and USAV.

Age Definition Guideline for both AAU Volleyball and USA Volleyball:

• 10 & Under - Players who were born on or after July 1, 2014
• 11 & Under - Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013
• 12 & Under - Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
• 13 & Under - Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
• 14 & Under - Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
• 15 & Under - Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
• 16 & Under – Players who were born on or after July  1, 2008
• 17 & Under - Players who were born on or after July  1, 2007
• 18 & Under – Players who were born on or after July  1, 2006, OR players who were born on or after July 1, 2005, and are in the 11th grade during the current academic year.
• Once a player participates in a club or varsity program for any university, college, community college, or junior college, he or she is ineligible to play in the National Championships.

Tryout Criteria: Athletes are evaluated based on their skills, fundamentals, teamwork, communication, attitude, discipline, leadership, positions, and other skills and attributes. All of these factors will be taken into consideration in the placement decisions.

Tryout Fee: This fee covers all expenses related to tryouts for one athlete for the 2024-2025 club volleyball season with Hunter's Volleyball Academy; including coaches fee, court rental, and administrative fees. Payment of the tryout fee does not guarantee placement on a club team for the 2024-2025 club season nor will the fee be refunded if an athlete is not placed on a team. The tryout fee may be refunded, less the Wix service fees, if the tryout is canceled with written notice to huntersvolleyacademy@gmail.com at least 48 hours prior to the tryout date registered for. If canceled with less than 48 hours' notice, there will be no refund.
